Safety Advisors required to join a Tier 1 contractor in Melbourne
The company
Established for over 25 years my client is a head contractor across civil rail infrastructure projects
They have an awesome opportunity for a safety advisor to join their team on various rail projects across Melbourne.
The Role
Due to growth, my client is looking to expand their team of safety advisors, you will be working on rail line projects across Melbourne.
Reporting to the Safety Coordinator you will be responsible for
- Prepare and review safety documentation for onsite high-risk construction works and ensure the follow legislative requirements
- Review safety data and provide recommendations
- Assisting in toolbox talks, pre-start contents, and setting up KPIs to ensure Project teams are adequately trained to perform their health and safety responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections and audits
You will have
- Knowledge of AS/NZS 4801, ISO 14001, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Act & Regulations
- Demonstrable experience in Safety Management System implementation
- 2 – 5 years in a Safety role in a construction environment
- Relevant Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Health and Safety.
