The Opportunity
My client is looking for experienced Demolition and Basement Supervisors who are looking to step into OR have experience in a leadership role within the industry. As a growing contractor, they specialise in all aspects of civil construction including but not limited to RMS works, demolition, bulk excavation, piling & shoring.
The Role
As a Site Supervisor you will be responsible for;
- responsible for project outcomes and efficient delivery from project commencement through to completion.
- Daily allocation of equipment, staff, management of service and procurement, operational advice to project managers/operator/supervisor.
- Identifies and resolves issues and risks
- Reports on project progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
- Lead meetings and set expectations for the business
- Ensure compliance with current WH&S Statutory requirements
- Ability to prioritise work load and execute tasks within an agreed time frame
- Exceptional Communication aptitude in written and verbal form
- Be flexible, reliable, hardworking and a team player
- Problem solving skills
Successful candidate will have the following:
- Proven experience on Demolition or Basement projects in Australia
- Strong leadership, negotiation and management skills in all aspects of the demolition and foundations space.
- Supervise Multiple jobs
- Must have a strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude
- Plant tickets and White Card
