The Opportunity
My client is looking for multiple experienced and motivated Engineering and Land Surveyors to join their team in Melbourne. Candidates will be working both independently and part of a team, candidates will have the opportunity to work on multiple engineering and land projects across the Melbourne.
You will provide engineering and land survey solutions to all types of projects from small to large projects. You will work with the latest technology with laser scanning and modelling using Revit, Cyclone, Pix4d.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine construction methods, materials and quality standards, and draft and interpret specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures
- Organise and direct labour resources and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and coordinate detailed programs for the coordination of site activities
- Review drawings and specifications to estimate total costs and prepare detailed cost plans and estimates as tools to assist in budgetary control
- Monitor changes to designs, assess effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs
- Coordinate the management of machine control
- Collaborate with and support our project teams across all other Survey-related matters.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Experience working on engineering and land surveying projects
- Proficient in using all surveying equipment and software’s
- Understanding of point cloud capture technologies and solutions including processing and data modelling
- Ability with an ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of all safety requirements
- Current Australian driver’s license
