My client, a trusted Infrastructure Construction firm based in Vancouver is recruiting a Corporate Services Manager to join their team to cover a 1-year maternity leave.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage non-revenue generating operations and systems to provide efficient support to operations and management.
- You will work closely with Senior Management in implementing Company-wide initiatives.
- Human Focused – on employee development, willingness to help set up training programs, career management system, hiring/terminations
- Onboarding Hiring/supporting site teams
- Supporting senior managers and others with complicated HR matters.
- Fostering the marketing and proposal teams to help build out their Business Development Focus and communications
- Office / Corporate functions (Keeping it focused on Legal, strategy, policy, HR)
- Fostering team functions and events (internal planning for their events and also bolstering their external function planning (universities, industry events..etc)
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution and 5 years of office, HR and administrative experience; and
- Construction, utility, oil & gas, mining industry or manufacturing experience is an asset.
Certifications and/or Licensing Requirements
• Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certification is an asset;
• Valid Driver’s License;
