Junior/intermediate design engineer
The candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of site plan and subdivision related projects and assisting with preliminary and final grading and servicing designs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Functional Servicing Plans and Reports.
- Prepare grading and servicing plans.
- Coordinate and prepare engineering submissions.
- Provide preliminary and detailed design drawings.
Qualifications
- A University Degree or College Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Working towards or registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) in the Province of Ontario is an asset.
- Two years of experience in drafting and design works on municipal projects.
- Strong working knowledge in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil3D software.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to multi-task and provide deliverables effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
