My client is one of the leading specialists in civil contracting in British Columbia and still continues to grow. They require a Project Coordinator to join their team, located just outside of Vancouver, in Burnaby.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, organization, and quality control of the project while assisting to provide ongoing supervision and mentorship of project staff.
- Assist Project Managers with all project management tasks, roles, and responsibilities.
- Ensure all documents, drawings, etc. are organized, filed electronically, and distributed to all Project Managers.
- Oversee accurate completion of all site paperwork including time sheets, dailies, invoices, and work records for accurate cost coding to applicable contract items.
- Review the timely and accurate capture of project costs; prepare progress billings including extra work and all supporting documents, and final certificates of completion.
- Maintain and distribute site records, post records to the company document management system, and assemble documents to support claims.
- Process change orders, obtain quotes, and assess costs and impacts to the project schedule.
- Assist with project completion close-outs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Agtek, Timberline, Microsoft Project, Adobe, and MS Office an asset.
- Well organized, detail-oriented, and punctual.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively represent the company in multi-party discussions: interact with clients, architects, engineers, and local jurisdictions to understand and incorporate project objectives, schedules, permits, costs, etc.
