Primary Function:

As Senior Estimator, you will be part of the leadership of the company and the position includes, but is not limited to, the direction and completion of all Quantity Surveying functions throughout the pre-design, design and construction phases of a project. The position will involve leading QS teams, attending client meetings, and business development. Project experience in the Healthcare, Transportation, Educational and Institutional sectors will be seen as positive assets. The successful candidate will be motivated, personable, and have an excellent portfolio of hands-on experience.

• Client liaison
• Management of project cost team
• Expert advice
• Cost planning
• Cost control/management
• Order of magnitude estimating
• Detailed estimating during design development
• Peer reviews
• Preparing cash flows
• Value engineering participation/input
• Risk assessment
• Bid analysis
• Negotiation with contractors
• Collaboration and coordination with all project stakeholders ensuring delivery on all actions, ensuring milestones are met and overall project schedule achieved.

Required Experience:

• PQS designation
• 5+ years relevant senior level experience in North America
• Experience across Healthcare, Transportation, Educational and Institutional sectors
