Senior Project Coordinator

The Senior Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers and Construction Superintendents throughout the construction process to deliver the project successfully.
Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Post-secondary education in Construction
- Previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects
- Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Adobe Acrobat Software
- Intermediate knowledge of means and methods and construction sequences
- Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize own work, and delegate tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player, self-motivated and proactive thinker
- Passionate about learning and career growth
Job Responsibilities:
- Review documents, project drawings, contracts, and specifications in detail and inform the appropriate team about potential issues or conflicts
- Issue and manage Request for Information (RFI’s), Submittals and Change Orders
- Review and coordinate shop drawings
- Prepare contracts and manage revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
- Liaise with the project team, clients, consultants and sub-contractors
- Assist in the management of meetings, workshops and ensures effective record keeping
- Control project documents
- Assist with marketing and proposal writing
- Assist with tendering, quantity take-offs and tender analysis
