Senior Project Coordinator

The Senior Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers and Construction Superintendents throughout the construction process to deliver the project successfully.
 
Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Post-secondary education in Construction
  • Previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Adobe Acrobat Software
  • Intermediate knowledge of means and methods and construction sequences
  • Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize own work, and delegate tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and proactive thinker
  • Passionate about learning and career growth

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review documents, project drawings, contracts, and specifications in detail and inform the appropriate team about potential issues or conflicts
  • Issue and manage Request for Information (RFI’s), Submittals and Change Orders
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings
  • Prepare contracts and manage revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Liaise with the project team, clients, consultants and sub-contractors
  • Assist in the management of meetings, workshops and ensures effective record keeping
  • Control project documents
  • Assist with marketing and proposal writing
  • Assist with tendering, quantity take-offs and tender analysis
