About the Company:
Our client is a facilities management company with multiple projects in County Dublin. They are looking to add an Environmental Health and Safety Officer to their team.

About the Role:

  • Creating and implementing procedures (such as a safety statement, risk assessments and safety-related protocols, environmental aspects register, and so on) to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislative requirements as well as corporate Environmental and Health & Safety policy.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and development of ISO45001 and ISO14001 as part of the Integrated Management System.
  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments, as well as ensuring risk-control measures are implemented and monitored for Acacia activities and EH&S client projects
  • Administration and development of the site’s Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan
  • On-site / client project health and safety advice and support
  • Preparing health and safety documentation for site projects (PSDP/PSCS responsibilities)
  • Establishing and implementing contractor safety management arrangements Maintaining close contact with facility, technical, and administrative personnel to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • DSE workstation assessments completed (including WFH Assessments)
  • Manual handling training and risk assessments must be completed.
  • Work closely with senior management and provide advice as needed.
  • Administration of Occupational Health Services
  • Maintaining auditing systems and adhering to current environmental, health, and safety legislation, as well as corporate procedures

What you need to apply:

  • Health and safety qualification  
  • Experience in ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in a customer-focused environment DSE Assessor trained
  • Auditing environmental, health, and safety management systems
  • Microsoft IT application proficiency
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are required.
  • Reliability and enthusiasm
  • Full Clean Driving License Fluency in English
  • Possession of a personal vehicle
