I am seeking a Finishing Foreman on behalf of one of Ireland’s leading Main Building Contractors, for a €150m project in Dublin City Centre. The role would suit someone who has held a similar role with another main contractor, however you don’t need experience working on projects of such a large scale. €65k – €70k + package on offer.
About the company & role:
My client is a Tier 1 Building and Civil engineering contractor with vast experience across all sectors of the construction industry. They’re known for delivering high quality, sustainable construction projects across a range of sectors including, Commercial, Residential, Retail, Hotel, Education, Pharmaceutical and Data Centres.
The project itself is a large-sale mixed-use development, consisting of office space, a hotel, apartments, restaurants, communal space etc. You would be based on the residential (apartment) block within the development initially, and will have the opportunity to get involved in various high-profile projects thereafter. The company itself are involved in all sectors of the industry – Data Centre’s, Pharma, Commercial etc, and they have a lot of work in the pipeline so this is a long-term, permanent position.
What you will need:
- Strong finishing experience.
- Extensive experience in management of sub-contractors.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage personnel.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience work at Foreman/Site Manager level
- Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification
