SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a Mechanical Contractor, to be Site-Based in Kildare. This is a permanent position. Experience in a Health & Safety Role is not required but would be desirable, this is a perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to get into the Health & Safety Profession with a reputable contractor.

Our client is a well-known and well-respected contractor in the construction industry. They are working on a variety of projects that are both ongoing and completed.

- Based on one site in Kildare.
- Perfect opportunity for a Graduate Health & Safety Officer looking to gain employment.
- Salary Exceptions of €36,000 – €40,000 DOE.
- Working with a reputable Mechanical contractor.
- Working as part of a Health & Safety Team.

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to, assisting in the preparation of training sessions and the on-site preparation of all new employees or contractors.
- Assist with the scheduling of training sessions, the preparation of documentation, and the filing of completed paperwork.
- Assist in the delivery of toolbox talks.
- Documentation and paperwork related to safety are kept up to date.
- Encourage a solid safety culture on the job.
To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following:
- Strong communication skills.
- Level 7 or 8 Health & Safety Degree is desirable.
- Residing in Leinster.
