SSA are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a renowned Demolition and Civil Engineering Contractor within Dublin. You will be based across several sites in the area. This is a permanent position within the company.

Our client is a respected Demolition and Civil Engineering Contractor who have created a strong reputation since their conception over 25 years ago. They have amassed an impressive portfolio of ongoing work and completed projects to date.
About the role:
- Dublin – Based
- Work across several Dublin sites

Main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Assist in the overall compilation of Health & Safety Documentation.
- Ensure that personnel understand and adhere to their duties and responsibilities.
- Promote a strong culture of Health & Safety throughout the company whenever possible.
- Delivery of HSE processes, procedures, standards and systems.
- Assist in improving HSE management systems and procedures.
- Report on the safety performance of project teams and subcontractors and provide recommendations as such to management.
- Oversee and review site performance across several sites.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
- Relevant Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of Health & Safety exp within Construction (Demolition/Civils preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills
