SSA are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor within the Midlands. The role will be site-based on a landmark project within the Midlands. This is a permanent position in the Midlands within the company.

About the role:
- Site – based role across Residential Projects.

- Become part of an established and developed Safety team.
Main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Oversee and review site performance.
- Ensure that personnel are understanding of their duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure that the company’s HSQE policies, procedures and systems are adhered to.
- Report on the overall safety performance of project teams and subcontractors and provide feedback on this.
- Complete Toolbox Talks.
- Participate in the promotion of health-related risks and on-site training.
- Ensure that inspection records are maintained and preserved for all activities and plant equipment.
- Actively consider health and safety strategies and assist in further developing policies.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following
- Minimum 2 years experience within health and safety required.
- Main Contractor Experience preferred but not essential.
- Qualification in a related discipline.
