SSA are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a respected Specialist Subcontractor to be Site-Based on a Landmark Project in Carlow. This is a permanent position within the company.

Our client are a respected, Specialist Subcontractor who has a variety of work throughout Ireland and internationally. They work on projects across a variety of sectors such as Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial and more.
About the role:
- Carlow-based role
- Site – Based
- Permanent role within the company
- Scope to progress internally.
Main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensure that personnel understand their duties and responsibilities, and provide detailed guidance when required.
- Comply with accredited ISO standards.
- Report on safety performance and provide recommendations as such.
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Assist in the overall compilation of Health & Safety Documentation.
- Ensure that personnel are understanding of their duties and responsibilities.
- Actively participate in the promotion of health-related risks and on-site training.
- Ensure that inspection records are maintained and preserved for all activities and plant equipment.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Minimum of 1 years experience in Health & Safety.
- Strong communication skills.
- Relevant qualification.
