SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a Civil Engineering Contractor, to be based in Kilkenny. This is a permanent position within the company.

In the construction sector, our client is a well-known and respected contractor. They are engaged in a variety of ongoing and finished projects. In the Southeast, they have a long list of ongoing projects and upcoming projects.
About the Role:
- Site based role in Kilkenny.
- Salary of €32,500 – €35,000
- Collaboration with a reputable Civil Engineering contractor.
- Working as a member of a Health and Safety Team.
- Work with a reputable industry leader who will respect your credentials and invest in your training and development.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the planning of training sessions and the on-site training of all new employees or contractors will be among your main duties.
- Help with the planning of training sessions, document creation, and filing of finished paperwork.
- Help with toolbox talks.
- Safety-related paperwork and documentation are kept current.
Ensure that there is a strong safety culture at work.
To be Successful you will need the following:
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
