SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer on behalf of an M&E Contractor, to be based on a data center project in Dublin. This is a permanent position.

In the construction sector, our client is a well-known and respected contractor. They are engaged in a number of ongoing and finished projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, and the United States.
About the Role
- To be based in Dublin 15 on a data center project.
- Salary of €35,000 – €40,000
- Working with the largest M&E contractors in Ireland.
- Working as part of a Health & Safety Team.
- Work with a respected industry leader who will value your qualifications and invest in your training and development.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to
- One of your main responsibilities will be to help with the planning of training sessions and the on-site training of all new employees or contractors.
- Help with document preparation, training session scheduling, and finished paper filing.
- Help with toolbox talks.
- Safety-related documentation and paperwork are kept up to date.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety.
To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following:
- Strong communication skills
- Relevant NFQ Level 6 or 7 OR NEBOSH Qualification
- Some experience would be desirable but no essential
