Our Client requires a skilled Resident Engineer to join their talented team in working on an extensive project in Dublin.
The Client is a global company that offers design, engineering, architectural, planning, and advisory services.
The Role
- Ensuring that the works are built in compliance with the specifications for the works and any applicable legislative permissions.
- Utilising the assistance of the health and safety coordinator to ensure that the work is being done in compliance with the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Regulations.
- Discuss with the Engineer-in-Charge any changes from the stipulated construction materials and processes.
- Review and approve contract submittals and payment applications to contractors on a regular basis.
- Take part in contract closing activities.
- Hold regular progress meetings with the contractor and other relevant staff, and report on any concerns that arise.
Requirements
- 8-10 years experience desirable
- Must have Resident Engineer experience
- Background in steel and concrete structures
- Relevant third level qualification (level 8 or higher)
- Civil/Structural background
- Excellent communication skills
What the Client is offering
€60 p/h or salary of €96,000
PI cover for flat salary option
