I am seeking a Senior Electrical Coordinator/Engineer on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor in Dublin. You will be based on a Data Centre project in West Dublin initially. This is an opportunity to gain permanent, long-term employment with one of the countries leading main contractors.

About the company:

My client is a Tier 1 Building Contractor with vast experience across all sectors of the construction industry. They currently have a number of high-profile projects under construction including Commercial, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical plants, and Mixed-use developments ranging in value from €10m to €200m.
You will be based on a large Data Centre project initially, and will have the opportunity to get involved in various projects thereafter.
The company have a healthy pipeline of work and are in a strong position going forward, so this is a permanent, long-term position.

A Brief Overview:

  • The role involves mainly the coordination of all Electrical systems
  • A substantial amount of the coordination revolves around design changes and tying in with the BIM coordinator.
  • Coordinating the deliveries from the vendors
  • Liaising between the design team and the Electrical contractors
  • Tracking RFI’s and Submittals
  • Collating all the SAT’s and FAT’s
  • Coordinating equipment power up’s
  • Some site QA checking

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

  • Degree in Electrical/Building Services Engineering
  • 7+ years post graduate experience
  • Experience with either a Main Contractor/M&E Subcontractor, or Consultancy
  • Data Centre experience is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems
  • Excellent communication skills
