I am seeking a Senior Engineer on behalf of a highly reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor in Cork.
The company is a leading building and civil engineering contractor with vast experience across all sectors of the construction industry. They are a nationally recognised contractor with a portfolio of major projects across all sectors of the industry.

The company have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned work in the Cork area, and this is a permanent position, so would suit someone looking to base themselves in the Munster region long-term.
€60,000 – €65,000 + package on offer.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist in maintaining the progress on site in accordance with Project Programme, H&S and Building Regulations
- Assist in producing and maintaining contract programs with the Project Manager/Contracts Manager
- Management of Junior/Site Engineers
- Liaise with senior management and commercial teams to ensure the project meets overall budget requirements
- Management of the procurement of materials, plant and equipment needed for the project
- Management of sub-contractors and site personnel
- Drive project through to successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Maintaining, tracking and scheduling work programmes and reviewing weekly progress reports from the master construction programme
- Facilitating the flow of information between the Design Team and the Construction Team
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Degree qualified in Construction or Civil Engineering
- Highly motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Excellent people management and communication skills
