SSA are recruiting on behalf of a Leading M&E Contractor who are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Officer to join their team working on a Landmark Pharmaceutical Project in Limerick. This is a permanent role within the company.
My client is a Top Tier M&E Contractor, who have a vast array of both ongoing work and completed projects throughout within Ireland and throughout Europe
About the role:

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to
- Implementation of the site Health and Safety Induction Training programme.
- Ensure that a strong, pro-active health & safety culture is adhered to on site.
- Reviews of Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Conduct regular site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate the adoption of industry best practices in health and safety.
- Assist in developing health & safety strategies, programs and plans.
- Active health and safety monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities.
- Co-ordinate the development and implementation of health and safety programmes and initiatives designed to continually improve performance consistently.
To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following;
- Relevant Qualifications
- Minimum 2 + Years’ Experience
- M&E Experience essential
- Strong communication skills.
