I am seeking a Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering contractor in Dublin. The company have a strong pipeline of ongoing projects, and you will be based on a large project in North Dublin initially.
Up to €60k (DOE) + vehicle + bonus on offer.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and with company health & safety policy on all sites under control
- Setting out all elements of works including structures, road alignments and service installations using Trimble GPS
- Compiling as-builts using Civil 3d
- Oversee quality control on site for all aspects of the works
- Ensure Traffic Management arrangements are in accordance with the relevant traffic management plans
- Managing all aspects of the works on site on a daily basis
- Surveying constructed works for as-built drawings
- Monitoring and recording progress on site and assisting in updating the works programme
- Management of material deliveries on site and checking quality of materials
- Supervising sub-contractors works on site
- Attend regular site meetings with construction team, design team and client
- Maintaining daily site records and testing records
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Experienced in use of setting out equipment – Trimble GPS, robotic total station, levelling equipment
- Experience of roadworks and utility installations
- Ability to manage sub-contractors
