SSA is currently recruiting 2 Mechanical Estimators on behalf of a well-established Mechanical Contractor with offices in both Dublin and Galway.

These are excellent opportunities for experienced Mechanical Estimators to join a growing business delivering projects across Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Healthcare, and Data Centre sectors throughout Ireland.

About the role:

The successful candidates will join the pre-construction team and play a key role in preparing competitive and accurate mechanical estimates for a range of high-value projects.

Positions are available in either the Dublin or Galway office.
Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing detailed mechanical cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Attending tender meetings and project handovers
• Assisting with value engineering and cost-saving proposals
• Managing multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
• Liaising with design teams, clients, and internal project teams
• Supporting commercial and project delivery functions where required

Position requirements:

• Previous experience in a Mechanical Estimator position
• Mechanical Contractor or Building Services background preferred
• Experience pricing Mechanical projects across Commercial or Industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of Mechanical systems and services
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or similar preferred
