About the Company:
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing business operating within the construction and engineering sector. Known for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments, they are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Maintain accurate project costings and support project managers with financial insight
• Manage accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payment runs, and expense claims
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
• Support continuous improvement of financial controls and reporting processes
• Ad hoc financial analysis and support to the Financial Controller or Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Part-qualified or qualified
• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within construction or project-based environments
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel, outlook and word as well as other accounting software.
• Experience & knowledge of Yardi software would be an asset.
