Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills to contribute to a dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities - Process and manage a high volume of accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
- Assist in month-end closing by preparing accounts payable reports and reconciliations.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth payment processes.
- Support the finance team with other duties and projects as required.
Qualifications and Experience - A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the construction industry or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
