About the Role
Our client is a high-growth, NVIDIA-backed technology company that has reinvented building automation, replacing traditional manually-programmed building controls with an autonomous, digital-twin-based platform. Following new deployments across major European real estate portfolios, they are hiring an Automation Project Manager to represent their technology on the ground in Germany. This is a project management role focused on execution and stakeholder management, not technical site-modeling (dedicated specialists handle that).
 
Key Responsibilities

• Own on-site project management for building automation deployments across Germany
• Represent the technology and company locally to customers, contractors and installation partners
• Coordinate project timelines, site activity and issue resolution
• Support sales application engineering, working with end-users, installation contractors and integrators during project take-off
• Act as a feedback loop between the field and the wider international engineering and leadership team
• Support onboarding of local contractors and partners as needed
• Travel across Germany to customer sites, with occasional international travel for onboarding/training

 
Requirements

• Fluent German (essential) and strong working English
• 5+ years in construction project management or building controls/HVAC-related project delivery
• Advanced understanding of building controls systems, HVAC and how buildings are typically designed and operated
• Comfortable working in a highly technical, fast-evolving environment
• Strong communication skills, able to bridge technical teams and external partners
• Genuine interest in sustainability, energy reduction and modernizing the built environment
• EU work authorisation required

 
Package

• Salary: Competitive + Package
• Location: Remote, based anywhere in Germany, with regular travel to customer sites
