Job Description

SSA Group are seeking a BIM Coordinator on behalf of a Specialist Contractor in the Midlands.

€50k - €60k + package on offer, depending on experience.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• BIM Management: Manage the BIM process for projects, from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with project standards and goals.
• Model Development: Create, update, and maintain 3D BIM models, including architectural, structural, and MEP systems, and coordinate model information from various stakeholders.
• Clash Detection: Utilise BIM software to conduct clash detection analyses and collaborate with project teams to resolve clashes and discrepancies in the design.
• Coordination: Facilitate regular coordination meetings to review BIM models and ensure alignment among various project disciplines.
• Documentation: Generate and maintain accurate BIM documentation, including as-built models, BIM execution plans, and model archives.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and processes to ensure their proficiency and compliance with BIM standards.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality and consistency of BIM deliverables, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of construction and architectural principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Previous experience in BIM coordination in the construction industry.
