Job Overview: They are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing project management and estimating functions, ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
    • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Estimating:
    • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for potential projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
    • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate project costing.
    • Analyze and evaluate project specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
  3. Contract Negotiation:
    • Participate in contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions .
    • Review and analyze contract documents to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  4. Budgeting and Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Implement effective cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
  5. Quality and Safety Compliance:
    • Enforce and uphold quality standards and safety protocols on all projects.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  6. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
    • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager/Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Proficient in project management software and estimation tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
