Client-Side Project Manager – Aged Care & Refurbishment Projects Are you an ambitious Project Manager looking for flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to shape your career? This is an excellent opportunity to join a boutique consultancy delivering client-side project management across aged care, refurbishment, and government sectors.
We’re seeking a driven individual with around 3+ years of experience who is ready to take the next step. Whether you’re already a Project Manager or a Contract Administrator eager to move up, this role offers mentorship, career growth, and the freedom to make the role your own.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Client-Side Project Management – Represent the client’s interests and ensure projects are delivered to brief, on time and on budget.
- Planning & Scheduling – Develop project programs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Client Liaison – Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring expectations are met.
- Budget Management – Monitor budgets and prepare cost reports.
- On-Site Coordination – Oversee contractors and site activities to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Team Management – Work closely with subcontractors and consultants to deliver smooth outcomes.
- Risk & Compliance – Identify risks and ensure site inspections (including waterproofing/cavity checks) are carried out.
- Reporting – Provide progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
Why You’ll Love It
- Client-Side Role – Work directly with clients, not a builder.
- Flexible Work – Work from home, the office, or onsite—your choice.
- Support & Autonomy – Mentorship available without micromanagement.
- Career Growth – Ongoing professional development and clear progression.
- Culture – A collaborative, supportive, and social team environment.
- Perks – Regular team events, laptop provided, flexible hours.
About You We’re looking for someone who is proactive, confident, and motivated to grow:
- Background in client-side project management or contract administration.
- Degree or Diploma in Construction/Project Management (preferred).
- Aged care, hospitality, or government project experience (preferred but not essential).
- Confident communicator – able to present well and hold your own in meetings.
- Strong understanding of construction sites and processes.
- Must have a car and be open to regional travel across NSW and ACT.
- Based in Sydney, Canberra, or surrounding regions.
This is a rare chance to step into a client-side role that offers flexibility, autonomy, and genuine career progression while working on meaningful projects.
