Job Title: Construction Project Manager (Experience in Student Residence)

Location: Peterborough, Ontario

Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year

Experience: 5+ years (with a general contractor in Ontario)

A reputable and well-established general contractor is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their team for a high-profile Student Residence project located in Peterborough, Ontario. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction management career who’s eager to grow under experienced leadership and gain valuable hands-on experience.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Superintendent in coordinating all on-site construction activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety standards and construction schedules.
• Support daily site operations, including quality control, materials management, and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, trades, consultants, and suppliers.
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of daily site reports, safety documentation, and project logs.
• Help enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor in Ontario.
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and OHSA regulations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
