With continued growth and a commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to join the team and lead the financial function with confidence and precision.

The Opportunity
As Controller, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial integrity, and supporting strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a deep understanding of industry-specific financial practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including AR, AP, payroll, month-end, and year-end close.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
  • Support operational leaders with financial insights and business performance analysis.
  • Supervise and mentor a small accounting team, fostering development and accountability.
  • Drive process improvements and systems enhancements to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
  • CPA designation (or close to completion) is required.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or Controller-level role.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction or real estate development industry
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Dynamics, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working full-time in an office environment.
