Electrical Design Engineer – Lighting & Power Systems (P.Eng)

Location: Scarborough

Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the design of lighting, emergency power, and electrical distribution systems for large-scale building projects. This role involves close collaboration with clients and contractors to ensure compliance, coordination, and high-quality design delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed layouts for electrical distribution
- Engage in meetings to discuss project findings
- Ensure ASHRAE and LEED compliance in designs
- Review drawings to assure project specifications
- Create and document technical reports and calculations

Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering required
- 5+ years in electrical design for large systems
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation needed
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards
- Strong communication and time-management skills
