About the company:

Our client, A reputable Electrical Contractor, are rapidly expanding throughout Ireland, with a specific focus on, commercial, data centre, pharma and healthcare, sectors. This company is a multi-disciplined engineering contractor delivering diverse high-end projects throughout Ireland. 

About the role:

• Cork Based role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing electrical design reviews and resolving technical queries.
• Coordinating technical submittals and approvals.
• Supporting procurement and tracking the delivery of electrical equipment.
• Coordinating CAD/BIM activities with our in-house BIM team.
• Monitoring engineering progress and maintaining project trackers.
• Carrying out site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Supporting commissioning, testing, BCAR compliance and project handover.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and supporting continuous improvement

Requirements: 

• A Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (an electrical trade background is advantageous).
• Experience delivering electrical engineering packages on commercial, industrial or healthcare construction projects(min 3 years)
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services, commissioning and construction processes.
• Experience with AutoCAD and a working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A full clean driving licence
