About the Role We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our clients Major Projects team, overseeing multi-year hospital projects ranging from $30M–$400M with durations of 3–7 years. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks while collaborating closely with engineers, architects, vendors, and user groups. This is a site-based role across the Lower Mainland, BC, and Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities - Manage time, cost, quality, risks, and financial performance for assigned scope.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee design-build processes.
- Develop, review, and update project schedules.
- Prepare project documentation, including technical, safety, environmental, QA/QC, insurance, bonding, and permits.
- Procure materials and equipment on schedule.
- Estimate changes to scope and explore value engineering options.
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and monitor labor requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Junior Project Managers or Project Coordinators.
- Ensure safety remains the top priority on-site.
Qualifications & Experience - Electrical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Project Management training or certification (PMP an asset).
- Minimum 7 years’ construction project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of project financial reporting and contract law.
- Experience creating, monitoring, and updating project schedules.
- Experience estimating projects or change orders.
- Electrical and/or Technology building experience preferred.
