Professional Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) to join their growing team on Vancouver Island. This opportunity is ideal for a registered (or eligible) P.Eng. with a strong geotechnical background and at least 5 years of post-licensure experience.
This firm supports a wide range of public- and private-sector projects including land development, infrastructure, forestry, utilities, and resource-based industries. The successful candidate will be based in the

Key Responsibilities: - Conducting geotechnical investigations including fieldwork, analysis, modelling, and reporting.
- Preparing geotechnical designs and documentation for a range of projects (residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, etc.).
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technical staff.
- Participating in site visits, including field reviews and inspections during the design and construction phases.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and providing geotechnical expertise across various sectors.
- Contributing to proposal writing and client engagement efforts.
Ideal Candidate Will Have: - P.Eng. registration (or eligibility) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) in civil or geological engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
- Proficiency in slope stability analysis, geotechnical investigations (drilling/test pitting), and foundation design.
- Familiarity with geotechnical modelling software (e.g., slope stability or pile analysis tools).
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, client-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for short field assignments (typically 2–3 days; occasionally up to 1 week).
