Health & Safety Manager
 
Salary: Up to $130,000
 
Full-Time | On-Site
 
Are you a proactive and solutions-focused Health & Safety professional looking to take the lead on H&S strategy across a dynamic construction environment? Our client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee all safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of safety excellence across their projects and operations.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide Health & Safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to ensure compliance with OHSA and internal standards.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and onboarding sessions for employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Work collaboratively with project teams, site supervisors, and external partners to promote safe work practices.
• Keep current with legislative changes, industry best practices, and emerging safety technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Health & Safety experience in construction, industrial, or related field.
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent designation (or working toward certification) considered a strong asset.
• Deep knowledge of OHSA, construction regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to influence, coach, and build a positive safety culture.
