A small, but growing engineering consultancy is seeking an
Intermediate Environmental Engineer to work on hands-on environmental projects across infrastructure and land development sectors.
With offices in Ottawa and London, this is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative team, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical work and practical field experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct Phase I–III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Manage excess soil for construction projects
- Field work including drilling oversight, monitoring, and sampling
- Collaborate closely with contractor-led clients
- Support infrastructure projects with growing exposure to land development, landfills, and Northern projects
- Contribute to unique projects, including municipal health & safety initiatives for First Nations communities
What they’re looking for - 3–5 years of environmental consulting experience
- Environmental or chemical engineering background
- Field experience (drilling, monitoring, soil & groundwater)
- P.Eng or P.Geo preferred (or working toward)
- Interest in business development is a plus
- Comfortable with 80% office work / 20% field work
Benefits include phone allowance, paid mileage and field supplies, and vacation that grows with tenure (up to 4 weeks). Salary of up to $90,000, depending on experience.
