SSA are working with a market-leading Mechanical Contractor seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Dublin working on exciting data centre projects 

The Company:
This delivers critical projects to industry sectors including data centre Environments, Hospitals & Medical Devices, Process Industries, Biopharma, Food and Beverage Factories, Dairies, Chemical works and Transport Infrastructure.

The Role:
The Jr Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Project Management with the delivery of mechanical building services installations on data centre projects across Ireland.
Working closely with the project management, design, and site teams, the Jr Mechanical Engineer will ensure that mechanical systems are installed to specification, compliant with local regulations, delivered safely, and meet project quality and commissioning requirements.
This is an on-site role requiring strong technical ability, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Requirements : 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
• 2-5 years’ experience in mechanical building services or construction engineering-
• Experience working on large commercial, industrial, data centre, or pharmaceutical projects  
• Knowledge of Irish and EU construction standards and regulations beneficial
