SSA is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established Specialist Plastering & Drylining Contractor for a permanent position based in Dublin.
About the role: Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will join an experienced commercial team delivering plastering, drylining and internal finishes packages across a range of high-profile construction projects throughout Dublin and the surrounding counties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior QS looking to develop their career within a specialist subcontracting environment.
Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with the commercial management of multiple live projects
- Preparing measurements and take-offs
- Assisting with subcontractor and supplier procurement
- Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and preparing cost reports
- Liaising with site teams, clients and main contractors
- Maintaining commercial documentation and project records
- Supporting the commercial team across all stages of project delivery

Position requirements: - Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 1–3 years' Quantity Surveying experience (graduate experience will also be considered)
- Previous experience within construction is advantageous
- Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence preferred
- Valid working rights within Ireland
