Our Client has a broad range of experience, including work in the fields of sport, health and research, military, education, residential and commercial real estate, retail, industry, and infrastructure.

What will your responsibility be?
  • Encourage the project team and employees to reduce or eliminate risks.
  • Promote the See Say Do approach, which aims to identify hazards early in order to decrease the risk of incidents happening, to site workers in order to educate them on hazard identification.
  • Conduct and carry out project consultation procedures, such as site orientations, efficiently conducted pre-start and toolbox meetings, and, if necessary, the establishment and operation of an efficient safety committee.
  • Suggest corrective or preventive measures to stop dangers from getting worse and turning into occurrences that could cause an illness or accident at work.
  • Carefully examine each incident, make recommendations for remedial or preventive measures to be taken, and see to it that the agreed-upon measures are carried out.
  • Assist the project manager by determining what WHSE training has to be done further for the project.
  • Keep track of and distribute WHSE data.
What is required to be a successful applicant?
  • One to two years of practical experience as an HSE advisor or in a comparable position.
  • Practical understanding of the WH&S Act, Rules, Codes of Conduct, Australian Standards, and how the building sector applies them.
  • Technically proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Certificate IV OHS / WHS.
