Our client, a well-established land surveying firm partnered with SSA Group, is seeking a Land Surveyor to join its expanding team in Melbourne. With continued business growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, it is increasing the capacity of its surveying division. What will our new responsibilities be? - Perform topographic, contour, and detailed surveys, preparing accurate survey plans for residential and other construction projects.
- Conduct cadastral surveys across diverse settings, including rural, urban, and greenfield developments.
Establish and maintain precise GPS control networks for survey operations. - Process and reduce survey data, producing high-quality outputs using Trimble Business Centre and AutoCAD.
- Continuously develop technical skills by learning and applying new surveying methods and technologies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide professional guidance via in-person, phone, or email meetings
What do you need to be a successful candidate?
- A surveying certificate, diploma, or degree from a recognised university or institution.
- Experience in survey setup, implementation, and data collection, with a basic to intermediate understanding of Trimble GPS and Total Stations.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD and Trimble Business Centre (TBC).
