We’re partnering with a well-established, locally owned HVAC&R contractor in Cairns seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead their mechanical construction division. The Role

• Manage and coordinate all mechanical construction activities
• Oversee subcontractors, engineers and site crews
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and schedules
• Maintain project programs, budgets and progress reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and project standards
• Work closely with clients, architects and consultants
• Resolve technical and operational issues promptly

What You Need

• 5–10+ years’ experience in mechanical construction management
• Proven background across HVAC, piping, plumbing and mechanical services
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
• Mechanical engineering degree beneficial but not essential
