Mechanical Design Engineer

SSA Group is partnering with a well-established HVAC contractor to recruit a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer for their Melbourne office.
This is a permanent opportunity working on a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial mechanical projects across Victoria.
The Role

• Design and document HVAC systems for commercial projects
• Prepare heat load calculations, equipment selections and duct layouts
• Produce technical drawings and supporting documentation
• Liaise with project managers, site teams and consultants
• Provide technical support through delivery and commissioning

About You

• Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
• Experience designing commercial HVAC systems
• Strong understanding of Australian standards and codes
• Proficient with relevant design software
• Strong communication and coordination skills
