SSA are currently working with a Tier 2 M&E Contractor seeking to hire a Mechanical Foreman based in Dublin.

Role Purpose:

The role of Mechanical Site Foreman will be required to lead on-site mechanical activities at our Dublin location. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes ownership of their workload, drives teams to meet deadlines, and maintains high standards for safety and quality. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate resources including labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
• Lead and supervise a mechanical team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
• Drive project delivery by managing schedules, priorities, and on-site workflows.
• Enforce safety and quality standards across all site activities.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
• Prepare and submit reports on progress, resource usage, and any site incidents.
• Monitor and report project progress against milestones and budgets.
• Maintain accurate site records and ensure compliance with company procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or site supervision within mechanical or mechanical/electrical contracting.
• Proven track record of coordinating and delivering medium to large projects.
• Trade background with relevant qualifications.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Flexible to travel as project needs require
