Mechanical Project Engineer (HVAC)

SSA Group is proud to be partnering with a well-established mechanical services contractor to recruit a Mechanical Project Engineer for their Melbourne team.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing business delivering commercial HVAC projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education and industrial.
The Role

• Support the delivery of HVAC projects from design through to completion
• Assist with project planning, procurement and scheduling
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Prepare and manage RFIs, shop drawings and technical submissions
• Monitor project progress, costs and quality
• Assist in managing variations and project documentation
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams

About You

• Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
• Experience working on commercial HVAC projects in Australia
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach
