Mechanical Project Manager

SSA are working with a Tier 2 Mechanical Contractor based in Sydney seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Construction Manager you will:

• Lead and manage HVAC construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and financial tracking.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance.
• Attend client and site meetings to resolve project challenges and maintain strong relationships.
• Promote the company to new and existing clients through project excellence.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
• Support tender submissions, including site inspections and cost estimates.
• Mentor and support site teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
• Work on diverse and high-profile HVAC projects.

Qualifications and Experience
• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing HVAC or mechanical construction projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects in Health, Education, Residential, or Commercial sectors.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction processes, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
