Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced MEP Procurement Lead on behalf of a leading international technical construction partner delivering complex projects across Mainland Europe. This is a high-impact MEP Procurement Lead job for someone ready to take ownership of the full MEP package — from take-offs and tender strategy through to final negotiation and package placement.
The Role Sitting between pre-construction and delivery, you'll lead MEP package procurement, evaluate subcontractor bids, drive value engineering, and build a strong MEP supply chain across Germany and wider Europe. You'll be the commercial authority on MEP from tender analysis through to subcontract award.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement of MEP subcontract packages — best value, compliant, on programme
• Conduct take-offs and measurements from MEP drawings, specs, schematics and single line diagrams
• Develop tender lists, issue RFQs, and manage tender documentation
• Analyse, level and report on subcontractor quotations
• Chair post-tender meetings and negotiate commercial and contractual terms
• Build and maintain a robust supply chain of MEP subcontractors and specialist suppliers
• Travel to project sites and supplier meetings (approx. 1-2 times per month)

 
What You'll Bring

• Procurement / commercial / subcontract buying experience within construction
• Strong track record procuring MEP packages — main contractor or MEP subcontractor side
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, schematics and SLDs
• Proven bid analysis and tender evaluation skills
• Strong negotiator with JCT / NEC / bespoke subcontract knowledge (desirable)
• Data centre and/or pharmaceutical experience highly advantageous
