This is a new role created as of yesterday due to growth and upcoming project demands.
The Role The company is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and Site Superintendents on active ground-up projects. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to grow within an ICI construction environment.
Experience with steel structures is required.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Project Managers with project documentation and reporting
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change order tracking
• Coordinate structural steel shop drawings, RFIs, and site queries
• Maintain project schedules, meeting minutes, and correspondence logs
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
• Support cost tracking, purchase orders, and invoice reviews
• Assist with tendering and procurement activities
• Attend site meetings and support site teams as required
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project files
Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years of construction or project coordination experience
• Hands-on experience with structural steel or steel-frame projects required
• Exposure to ICI, commercial, institutional, or light industrial construction
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and workflows
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office including Excel and Outlook
• Experience with construction management software is an asset
• Motivated to learn and grow within a stable team environment
