About the Client
A well-established M&E contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to join its growing delivery team, supporting the successful coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across commercial, residential, education, healthcare and high-spec fit-out projects.

This is a strong opportunity for an ambitious Project Engineer looking to develop within a reputable building services contractor, working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate technical and delivery requirements for assigned project packages.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submittals and design information.
• Raise and track RFIs, technical queries, approvals and design changes.
• Support procurement by preparing schedules, reviewing quotations and tracking deliveries.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and site teams to resolve technical interfaces.
• Maintain inspection plans, quality records, commissioning documentation and progress trackers.
• Support programme updates, look-ahead planning and progress reporting.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, O&M manuals, training and project handover.

Candidate Profile
• Technical or project-engineering experience within project, M&E or specialist construction.
• Able to read and coordinate drawings, specifications, schedules and technical submissions.
• Organised and comfortable managing RFIs, procurement, quality records and project trackers.
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Requirements & Experience
• Good understanding of construction health and safety, quality assurance and project controls.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel to and work from the London location as required.
