About Our Client
Our client is a reputable general contractor specializing in the construction and renovation of quick-service restaurants (QSRs) and educational facilities throughout Ontario. With a focus on quality craftsmanship, timely delivery, and client satisfaction, they have built a strong reputation in the industry.
They're currently looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Ontario construction market and a proven track record of managing projects in the QSR and education sectors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee construction projects, from pre-construction to completion, with a focus on QSRs and school facilities.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and met.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and uphold safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario’s building codes, municipal regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Anticipate and resolve project issues, maintaining seamless operations and minimizing delays.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage permits, contracts, and all project documentation.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience managing construction projects in the Ontario market.
  • Experience in quick-service restaurant and/or school construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario’s construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • PMP certification or equivalent is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
