About the client: My client is a well-established piling subcontractor specialising in delivering innovative and reliable piling solutions for a wide range of construction projects. They are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee our piling projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of piling projects, ensuring smooth execution from initiation to completion.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, monitor costs, and prepare project reports.
- Resolve any technical or operational challenges during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Lead and mentor site teams to promote a positive and productive work environment.
About the requirements: - Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the piling or foundation engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of piling techniques, equipment, and industry standards.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant construction certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, etc.).
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
